One of the key minerals stored here is bentonite. This clay-like substance has exceptional swelling and absorption properties. It is widely used in the drilling industry to make drilling mud, which helps in lubricating drill bits and carrying cuttings to the surface. Nearby, large sacks of kaolin are neatly stacked.
