About Sepiolite: Sepiolite is a kind of aqueous magnesium - rich silicate clay mineral with layered chain structure. Rhombic or monoclinic system, generally a massive, soil - like or fibrous aggregate. Color is white, light gray, dark gray, tawny, rose red, light blue-green. Fresh surface for pearl luster, weathering for earthy luster. Chemicalbook hardness 2 ~ 3, density 2 ~ 2.5g./cm3. With a sense of slippery and astringent, sticky tongue. Brittle in dry condition. Low shrinkage, good plasticity, larger than surface, strong adsorption. Soluble in hydrochloric acid, light weight. Sepiolite also has decolorization, heat insulation, insulation, corrosion resistance, radiation resistance and thermal stability.

Sepiolite Usage:

Petroleum scouring sorbent, decolorizer, filter, ion exchanger, purifier, brightening agent, molding sand binder.

Ceramic: enamel raw material environmental protection particle stain remover and adsorbent.

High quality raw material for special high temperature resistant coatings of high magnesium refractories.

Construction: sound insulation, heat insulation materials, paint.
