About Magnesium oxide:

Magnesium oxide is a basic oxide, with basic oxide connectivity.It belongs to the cementitious material. Magnesium oxide is white or off-white powder.It is odorless, tasteless, non-toxic.It is a typical alkaline earth metal oxide.The chemical formula of magnesium oxide is MgO. The melting point of it is 2852℃, the boiling point is 3600℃, and the density is 3.58g/cm3 (25℃).

There are two kinds of magnesium oxide: light magnesium oxide and heavy magnesium oxide.

Magnesium oxide usages:

1, Light magnesium oxide is used in ceramics, enamel, refractory crucible, firebrick.It is also used as polishing agent, adhesive, paint and paper filler, neoprene promoter and activator. In medicine, it is used as antacid agent, laxative, excessive gastric acid and duodenal ulcer disease.It is used in glass dye, phenolic, plastic and other industries.

2, Dead burning magnesium oxide is magnesia, granular and brick.It is widely used as a refractory material for steel furnaces, cement kilns, glass combustion furnaces, etc.

3, Alkaline granular refractory, mainly used for metal refining industry, with block refractory furnace, or granular for maintenance materials, with spray, coating method attached to the furnace wall, in order to strengthen the furnace refractory ability.

4, Magnesium oxide produces positive charge in water, most of the suspended matter is negative charge.iT playS a role in absorption.It can improve the filtration effect.
