About Coke:Coke is a kind of solid fuel. It is obtained by dry distillation of coal at a high temperature of about 1000℃. The main component is fixed carbon, followed by ash, which contains very little volatiles and sulfur. It is silver-gray with metallic luster. It's hard and porous.

Its calorific value is mostly 26380 ~ 31400kJ/kg(6300 ~ 7500kcal/kg). According to different uses, there are metallurgical coke, foundry coke and chemical coke three categories. According to the size, there are coke block, broken coke and coke chips, etc

Coke Usage:

Coke is mainly used in blast furnace ironmaking and blast furnace smelting of copper, lead, zinc, titanium, antimony, mercury and other non-ferrous metals.It plays the role of reducing agent, heating agent and feed column skeleton. Casting coke, general requirements for large particle size, low porosity, high fixed carbon and low sulfur;.Coke for chemical gasification is not strict in strength, but it requires good reactivity and high ash melting point. The fixed carbon content of calcium carbide coke should be increased as far as possible.

It is also used in casting,brake pad,chemical industry and water treatment industry.
