About Sericite powder:

Sericite is a kind of natural fine Muscovite.It is a layered structure of silicate.It can be split into very thin sheet, sheet thickness up to 1μm (theoretically it can be cut into 0.001μm), diameter to thickness ratio is large. The properties of it ar good wear resistance and wear resistance; heat resistant insulation; insoluble in acid-base solution; chemically stable. In addition, sericite is similar to kaolin in chemical composition and structure.It has some characteristics of clay minerals, such as good dispersion and suspension in aqueous media and organic solvents, fine white particles and viscosity.

Sericite powder are mainly used in coatings,cosmetics,plastic,papermaking and rubber industry.
