About Calcium hydroxide:Calcium hydroxide is an inorganic compound,commonly known as slaked lime or hydrated lime. It is a white hexagonal powdery crystal.The solubility of calcium hydroxide decreases with increasing temperature. It is insoluble in alcohol, soluble in ammonium salt, glycerin.It can react with acid to produce the corresponding calcium salt.
