About Calcium hydroxide:Calcium hydroxide is an inorganic compound,commonly known as slaked lime or hydrated lime. It is a white hexagonal powdery crystal.The solubility of calcium hydroxide decreases with increasing temperature. It is insoluble in alcohol, soluble in ammonium salt, glycerin.It can react with acid to produce the corresponding calcium salt. At 580℃, it is decomposed into calcium oxide and water.It is commonly used as a building material, but also as a fungicide and chemical raw material.

Calcium hydroxide Usage:

1, Used for bleaching powder, hard water softener, water disinfection clarifier and construction industry.

2. Used in medicine. It can be used as additive in rubber and petroleum industry.It is used in lubricating oil to prevent coking, sludge deposition, neutralization and anticorrosion. It can also be used as hard water softener, disinfectant, acid making agent, etc.
3. Used as analytical reagent, carbon dioxide absorbent, and in organic synthesis.
4. Used forhair removal agent, disinfectant, acid stopping agent, astringent and various calcium salts.
