About Steel slag: Steel slag is a by-product of the steel making process. It is composed of silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur and other impurities in pig iron in the process of smelting oxidation of various oxides and these oxides and solvent reaction to produce salts. Steel slag contains a variety of useful components: iron 2% ~ 8%, calcium oxide 40% ~ 60%, magnesium oxide 3% ~ 10%, manganese oxide 1% ~ 8%.It can be used as raw materials for iron and steel metallurgy. The mineral composition of steel slag is mainly tricalcium silicate, followed by dicalcium silicate, RO phase, dicalcium ferrite and free calcium oxide. Steel slag is clinker, remelting phase.Its melting temperature is low. When remelting, the liquid phase forms early and the fluidity is good. The steel slag is divided into three kinds: electric furnace steel slag, open hearth steel slag and converter steel slag.

Steel slag is used for metallurgical raw materials, road engineering, glass-ceramics, water treatment, soil improvement.Steel slag can also produce unfired brick, casting sand, cement expansion agent, sand hardening agent and so on
