The feldspar vitreous body generated in melting is filled between the mullite grains of the body, so that the body is compact and the void is reduced, so as to improve its mechanical strength and dielectric properties. In addition, the formation of feldspar glass can improve the light transmittance of the body. The amount of feldspar in ceramic body varies with the requirements of different materials and products.

(2) Glass flux: feldspar is one of the main components of glass mixture. Feldspar contains high Al2O3, low iron content, and fusible than alumina, not only low melting temperature and wide melting range, mainly used to improve the content of alumina in glass ingredients, reduce the melting temperature in glass production and increase the content of alkali, to reduce the amount of alkali.
