About Potassium feldspar powder: Feldspar is alkaline metals such as potassium, sodium, calcium or alkaline earth metals aluminum silicate minerals, also known as feldspar minerals. (1) Ceramic body ingredients: before firing feldspar can play a barren raw material role, reduce the drying shrinkage and deformation of the body, improve drying performance, shorten drying time. During firing, it can be used as flux to reduce the firing temperature, promote the melting of quartz and kaolin, and accelerate the formation of mullite by mutual diffusion and infiltration in the liquid phase. The feldspar vitreous body generated in melting is filled between the mullite grains of the body, so that the body is compact and the void is reduced, so as to improve its mechanical strength and dielectric properties. In addition, the formation of feldspar glass can improve the light transmittance of the body. The amount of feldspar in ceramic body varies with the requirements of different materials and products.

(2) Glass flux: feldspar is one of the main components of glass mixture. Feldspar contains high Al2O3, low iron content, and fusible than alumina, not only low melting temperature and wide melting range, mainly used to improve the content of alumina in glass ingredients, reduce the melting temperature in glass production and increase the content of alkali, to reduce the amount of alkali. In addition, the process of melting feldspar into glass is relatively slow, small crystallization capacity, can prevent crystal precipitation in the process of glass formation and damage products. Feldspar can also be used to regulate the viscosity of glass. Potassium feldspar or albite are commonly used in various glass mixtures.

(3) Ceramic glaze: ceramic glaze is mainly composed of feldspar, quartz and clay materials, of which the feldspar content can reach 10-35%. Potassium feldspar is mainly used in the ceramic industry (blanks and glazes).

(4) Enamel raw materials: mainly with feldspar and other mineral raw materials mixed into Farang. The dosage of feldspar is usually 20-30%.
